In the days since his death, I have been searching for the words, looking for a place to start. Every time I formulate something in my mind, or I try to clear the mist, it seems woefully inadequate. There seems to be nothing in the spaces except grief, heartbreak and shock. I cannot think of him without the tears. Performed on the 10th of March 2010 in memory of a great friend, companion and fellow musician who passed away on the 7th of March 2010. We did it as best we could the way he would have loved seeing a show played. Improvised, ambitiously and with little time to practice.

The show was put up in 2 days and over a hundred friends of Imran showed up in a small bar Imran introduced us all to a couple of years ago.
Imran Lodhi (ex guitarist of Aunty Disco Project) passed away yesterday. Please pray for him and his family. May Allah bless him eternal peace in Jannat (Ameen).

I am returning to the scene though with a new band “Inter-Alia” that has humbly accepted my limited talents and my jam-missing-premadonna tantrums. Tonight after a long time I will try and completely get back into making some live music. {Read More…}
