‘Bol‘ a film by Shoaib Mansoor has been in news for a long time now mostly because Atif Aslam was acting in it and all of his fans were thinking as if he was doing the lead role in the film which he is not. Sources close to the film have confirmed that Atif Aslam is not doing the lead, but a supporting role in the film. BOL is not a typical hero heroine film. Humaima Abbasi and Manzar Sehbai are doing two of the major roles supported by Shafqat Cheema, Iman Ali, Atif Aslam, Mahira khan, Amir Kashmiri, Zeb Sajjad and many others. It is a very shocking news for Atif Aslam fans who were eager to watch him act in a lead role.

The reliable source also said, “no one is actually a lead in BOL they all have some specific role but no one is lead!!”

The film will not be releasing in early September but some time after EID.

But well whatever, we are still going to watch the movie because of Atif, won’t we?

Another exciting news for all those waiting for Shoaib Mansoor‘s upcoming highly-awaited project ‘Bol‘, Hadiqa Kiani has just recorded the title track for the film. This is the second song that she has recorded for the Atif Aslam starer ‘Bol’, first one being ‘Kaho’, an upbeat and high energy rock song with Atif Aslam. There are also some rumors that Shabnam Majeed and Faiza Mujahid (who sang two songs for Shoman’s previous project) have also given songs for the original soundtrack of the film. So, if the rumors are to be considered true then the original soundtrack features Atif Aslam, Hadiqa Kiani, Omer Nadeem, Shabnam Majeed & Faiza Mujahid. Now, this looks one exciting music album for all the Pakistani Pop music lovers out there. The film is expected to release in the second half of 2010 or early 2011 which means that the soundtrack will be out in a few months. Stay tuned for more updates related to the film.

Hadiqa Kiani has very recently recorded a rock song with Atif Aslam for Shoaib Mansoor‘s upcoming film “Bol“. Famous Music VJ “Mahira Khan” has been picturised on Hadiqa’s vocals along with Atif Aslam (both acting in the film). The song is called “Kaho” and it is an upbeat, very high energy concert song. From the couple of recent updates from our sources, we have discovered that Annie will be collaborating with Atif Aslam for a song in his debut film “Bol”. The name of the song as it has been told to us is “Rootho Na”. We had already reported about the joint venture of Atif Aslam with Omer Nadeem which is now being named as “Pyaar Hai”. We are still looking into more details to confirm the news and will update here once we get to know anything.

Annie just confirmed the news that she is not singing in the movie “Bol” she confirmed it on her official facebook account. So the rumors are at the end of the day just rumors.

As we reported earlier, that Atif Aslam has chosen to act in lollywood’s bol. With that the rumors came if he would or wouldn’t sing for his debut. Earlier this month, some of our sources reported that Ali Khan will be doing the songs and Atif will lip-sync. Today, however, Omer Nadeem announced an interesting news.

Yes..!!Shoaib Mansoor approached me and asked weather I can compose for his film I said yes I can compose for him then he called me to his office next morning I was very much excited.After fewdays I went to his studio where Atif aslam was also present then Aatif and I composed a song which Shoaib Mansoor liked very much.It was great pleasure to work with Atif after almost 6 year gap we had great chemistry at that time and still i felt the same level as far as music is concern,It feel nostalgic “Puraani Yaadein Taaza Hogaye”.Initially Shoaib Mansoor wanted to have couple of my original songs but the circumstances didnt allow me to have this honor.The major reason behind this is that Atif Aslam is acting in the movie so it would look better if he sing those song himself so i didnt want my album to get affected but still we didnt compromise what we composed for the movie.InshaAllah this song will be a big hit

Based on the news (read: rumors) from couple of sources, Atif Aslam won’t be singing any of the songs for his debut film “Bol“. Since, Atif had extremely ridiculous voice Shoaib Mansoor thought that Ali Khan should sing for him and Atif should lip-sync that?

I have no doubts about Shoman’s talent as a film maker but this sounds very ridiculous to me. First it was in Khuda Ke Liye when Fawad khan (the lead vocalist of EP) lip-synced over the song by Ahmed Jehanzeb and Shuja Haider and now we have Atif Aslam (the top pop star) lip-syncing Ali K.

The news sounded shocking (read: hilarious) when I first found out, considering the current state of Pakistani filming in general but Atif Aslam has taken a step ahead in Pakistani film industry to act as a doctor. However, since the film is directed by Shoaib Mansoor, this is not as hilarious as it sounded
