This album features Traditional Folk Songs from Sufi Saints from Punjab & Bosnia. Also Some of Arieb’s own compositions will be included.

“Today is a place” is a song that attempts to express the significance of imagination in life.

Natasha Ejaz says,

“I have lived all my life imagining things that weren’t there, talking to people that only I could see and living in places my unafraid mind would wander off to. In that way, “Today is a place” is an important statement for me and all others that still remain child-like in their adventures within themselves.

My greatest fear is to grow out of this adult-childhood, wake up one morning and forget what it feels like to see the world everyday as though I was viewing it for the very first time. I know there are others like me out there, so I just wanted to give them something to sing when they were in one of their mad excursions.”

The video was shot and directed by the immensely talented Usman Mukhtar and stars the beautiful Mariam Saleem.
