Waqar Zaka, concept writer and host of the show “Living on the edge” asks an interesting question on his Facebook group with the fans who think that living on the edge has lost it’s worth and has turned vulgar.
He asks
Do u think running INDIAN SONGS, Vulgar English Music Videos, Fashion Shows on our Pakistani channels will destroy our cultural values or Living on the edge where we ask ppl to perform dares? if in dares some one wants to wear western that’s his or her person choice, one should rememb that in my show there r grls like HINA , ANNIE , TALAMIA, Nida, Maria who r fully dressed up so y u r only luking at two grls Sidra & Luvina?
I’d like to personally answer Waqar’s question by breaking it down. The music videos, Indian and English that you are referring to doesn’t represent Pakistan or Pakistanis. If any of that is vulgar, that points to the nation from where it’s coming from. If something does represent Pakistan or Pakistanis that’s Living on the Edge and it’s quite doing its wonders in letting the world know that Pakistanis are bunch of douche bags.
I have to agree where Waqar says if someone wears western that’s his personal choice but screening it on is Waqar’s personal choice. He can’t really take care of the situation if someone is wearing that during the dares but was screening a girl waking up, rolled up in towel really necessary?
Was screening the audition where girl gets ready to unzip Waqar to get selected really necessary? The girl was responsible for doing that and it was her personal choice but Waqar screened it and that was his personal choice.
or Waqar creating a complete episode based on whether Momin tried to * Loveena or not was necessary?
Like Waqar said we have English and Indian music being tele-casted we also have access to complete porn industry online. Should we start it’s production too?

defending this sick ass show? the stupidist of all the TV personalities! My God! ok so this is what happens on his shows; “are you daring? ok, go throw this bucket of water on anyone who crosses this road!!” are you kidding me, thats the show? if that happens to me or anyone of the people i know, whether girl or guy, on air or out of fun, they’ll break the person’s neck, and that is a logical reaction!
what is the show trying to teach the coming youth, we are already a nation, excuse me, not nation, random people, illiterate to the maximum, handed over TVs before we even knew its use and purpose! so the end result is something like this show! this is what happens when you hand over such a sensitive and powerful instrument like a TV to the dumbest of the crowd!
I know defenders of the show are everywhere, inspired by i don’t know what! kinda like clans! I also know people differ in their choices and thinking but this….. fans of this show need a reality check!
