I heard a rumor a while back that Ep is back and they played at LUMS in the last night gig during the LUMS Olympiad. I just confirmed the news from my uni guys who are at LUMS at the moment. Fawad Khan was already working on his solo album and Ahmed Ali Butt was taking Rubberband seriously. Seems like they are now planning to play together. Rumor says there are couple of more events lined up but its not confirmed if xulfi would join the band. I would say it would be really cool without xulfi. We have seen xulfi screwing Call up.
Yes we have a video of the performance made by an unknown guy but whoever did, thumbs up for you
Update:
The band come back has been confirmed and it has been declared at their official facebook group. Ah im jealoused, lucky lums was the place they chose for the come back. It has been confirmed that Xulfi and Sajjad will not be part of the band.
New band lineup is:
- Fawad Afzal Khan
- Ahmed Ali Butt
- Hassaan Khalid
- Salman Albert
- Waqar Khan
The band this time consists of 5 members only. So, it would be easier to handle and they would make more money too. Before the band only made enough money to do their “Chai Pani”. Two major reasons why band would have broken up.

good news, but make it positive and more reality based then biased or what one feels about it.
1. there are 6 members, even in the video waqar is playing drums. salman albert is on guitars on the left side
. Hassaan is playing bass leaving fawad and butt on vocals, btw, fawad played guitar too .
2. anyhow, secondly.. rooti pani wasn’t the reason, it was a big mess, not positive but a big mess. let’s see how good the album does without xulfi, since he was the major contributor towards compositions. If it feels like irtiqa 2, well way too go the new e.P. if it doesn’t then we will certainly know what is lacking !!
